What a great day!

We had such a great day!  Students earned a movie and a free trip pass for the first quarter Star Reward.  We also had a cookout for first quarter AR reward.  I am so proud of my students that met the AR goal-20 students!  Awesome!  We ended the day with a Halloween party.  Thank you to everyone that donated snacks and supplies or helped with the party...we really appreciated it!

First quarter ended last week and report cards went home today.  Parents, please sign your name on the bottom of the report card, cut off that section, and return it to school with your child on Monday.  Thanks!  We had 17 students on the honor roll and 3 students on the high honor roll.  Great job sixth grade!

Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Halloween!

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!

The NGMSPO will be sponsoring a basket raffle. The 6th grade classes' basket theme is "Chocolate." We are asking that students bring in items to fill our basket. The baskets will be on display beginning Monday, November 3rd at all home basketball games. Chances will be sold for 50 cents or 3 for $1.

Please have your item turned in by Friday, October 31st.

Some ideas to fill the basket are: chocolate candy, hot chocolate, cake mix, brownie mix, candles, movies, books, stationary, lotion, anything chocolate scented. You may also send money toward the purchase of an item. Be creative!!!

Thank you for your support!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to the North Greene Little Knights...they ended their season with a 5-2 record. The team was honored last Friday night at the North Greene football game. The team members were introduced and got to go on the football field during half time. They will be one of four area teams playing in the tournament this weekend at Triopia.

Good luck boys!
